Mordkhe Rivesman was born in Vilna Lithuania in 1868. In 1911 he wrote lyrics that he called "Lomir Ale Ineynem"
Later he used melodies from Chassidic Jews songs to write this song. This song became so common that Jews typically sing it at any wedding. At the beginning of the wedding, when everybody is sitting down and waiting for the first toast -The Klezmers start singing “Lomir Ale Ineynem”.

At the end everybody stands up and drinks the wine and scream "Mozel Tov"
